ABC Peace – Campaign Overview

ABC for Peace is a global campaign in three phases, inspired by the Peace Circle structure. Each phase focuses on one essential dimension of peace:

• A – Act for Peace (Heart):January–MarchRooted in values like hope, compassion and justice, this phase inspires emotional connection and caring action.

• B – Build for Peace (Head):April–JuneFocused on learning, science and wisdom, this phase invites people to build peace through knowledge and reflection.

• C – Connect for Peace (Hands):September–NovemberEmphasizing collaboration, creativity and hands-on action, this phase encourages building together across cultures and generations.
  

Together, the three phases form a full circle — engaging the heart, the mind and the hands in the pursuit of peace.

How to Join the Campaign

2. Plant a Tree or Trees for the campaign values

Dedicate your planting to one or more of the campaign’s core values, symbolizing commitment to peace and renewal.

3. Register Your Trees with TreebuddyEarth:

Track your trees’ growth and impact by registering them on the TreebuddyEarth web app: https://www.pacfpeace.net/register-your-trees

4. Add a Cultural Touch:

Celebrate your planting with a song, poem, or artwork that reflects your community’s traditions and values.

5. Share Your Voice:

Post your planting story, photos, or videos on social media using #MinuteForHope, your local hashtag, and #ABCForPeace to inspire others to join.

Campaign Highlights

Planting Trees for our values

In each of three campaigns 2025, symbolic trees for hope, love, and justice are planted around the world. These trees draw inspiration from the Peace Circle, where similar trees symbolize these core values. While we are not creating full Peace Circle parks during this campaign, each tree represents the power of community and the potential for growth and renewal.

Cultural Expressions

Participants are encouraged to express the campaign’s values through creative activities such as poetry, songs, storytelling, and art. These cultural expressions inspire dialogue, connection, and shared purpose across diverse communities.
